IRMA MATRIX - German Design Award 2019 Special Mention

It is official: Our counting sensor IRMA MATRIX was awarded a "Special Mention" in the category "Automotive Parts and Accessories" for the German Design Award 2019.

The German Design Award is initiated annually by the German Design Council and is one of the leading international design awards.

»Special Mention« awards are given to works with designs that feature particularly successful partial aspects or solutions – these prizes honour the commitment of companies and designers.

The German Design Awards are presented by the German Design Council, the authoritative German body for branding and design. Its prestigious commission: to represent the world of German design. Established as a foundation in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag, the German Design Council supports the international industry in consistently achieving brand value via design, making it one of the world’s leading centres of expertise in communication and knowledge transfer in the area of design. In addition to industry associations and institutions, the exclusive network of the foundation members includes in particular the owners and brand managers of numerous renowned companies.

For us, the award for our product IRMA MATRIX, designed by Prof. Birgit Weller of use - Identity and Design Network, is a very special recognition. It motivates us to continue along the path of holistic design of our products and to give a face to our passion for technology.
